since i can't seem to make up my mind this is my plan for 2009.
i am going to spend the first part of this year concentrating and studying to get fully certified in LEED and NCIDQ.
simultaneously i am going to redo my portfolio and resume. add all the projects i have worked on over the past year.
then i am going to apply to jobs and school in the following cities -
new york, chicago, LA, and here in san francisco. the best offer, the best job, and the best school is where i will go (or stay).
i am going to take the year off from dating.
instead i will hang out with my new kitten.

it's been a long time since i've done an actual update on daily happenings..
with that said, since the last time i wrote the following has happened -
halloween.
i didn't do much, mostly just wore blood and a dress. for work i was a siamese twin and had another head, but that got heavy and at night i just looked like this.
i hung out on my friend's roof, drank a lot of wine, and then went to the de young museum for an opening of the yves saint laurent exhibit.
then anna visited. we ate oatmeal, did our part in trying to resuscitate the economy, watched movies.. and were generally old ladies. we did however, go see the ysl exhibit again. it was quite foggy that day. our exploring helped revive my dying love for this city. if only she lived here, i would be in heaven.
now with my rekindled love, i have been busy with work, being a homebody (the weather is getting cold) - which includes arts and crafts, knitting, learning how to cook, and watching excessive amounts of six feet under and dexter.
this past weekend i started my holiday shopping, but got distracted and bought my first prada's and an amazing book on vladimir ossipoff from this amazing architectural bookstore (william stout) in north beach. i also smoked a lot of pot (first time. ever) and went and saw bolt in 3D with a coworker.
this week is only three days of work (i love holidays!) and i am spending thanksgiving alone.
i am going home in december for two weeks and i couldn't be more excited about it.
right now, i'm quite happy.

i think i've done this before, but i really am just avoiding going out in the cold.

6.Kids: no kids, no pets. i let aubrey take our fish to LA and one died since.. i am thinking about adopting a cat after the holidays. i'm so impatient, i want one tonight, but i'm going to seattle for two weeks next month and wouldn't know what to do with her.
7. Brothers/Sisters: younger sister. she's about to turn 18, about to go to college.
8. Pets: see above. though, i do have josie. my mini black cat who lives with my parents.

1.) i am learning how to be a grown up.
2.) i know longer suck at my job and actually KIND OF know what i'm doing.
3.) i'm alone in san francisco and trying not to freak myself out about it.

i have my bachelors of fine arts in design.

love them. coolest people ever. my mother works in the retail industry. vp at eddie bauer and my dad is semi-retired, semi-does marketing.
12) Who are some of your closest friends?: i have the best friends a girl could ever ask for.
